We truly believe in routine eye examinations so that you can see as clearly as possible. Once you have to get glasses or contacts, it is even more important to watch the health of your eyes. You also need routine checks to ensure your prescription has not changed.
To ensure good eye health and vision, we are very proud to offer the following services:
Cataracts
During your Initial consultation:
- The doctor will determine whether you are ready for cataract surgery at your annual exam.
- IF NO: The doctor will assess whether you are ready at your next visit.
- IF YES: The doctor will send a consultation request to PCLI
- The examination and diagnostics are billable to your medical insurance.
- We will collect the remaining $550 at your first post op appointment.
If you are a “good candidate” The doctor will refer you to:
- Pacific Cataract & Laser Eye
Surgery and Post Op visits:
- PCLI will call you to schedule: This may take up to 2 weeks. They will go over the pricing & appointment scheduling with you.
- 1-Day POST OP CARE: Will be scheduled with our clinic from PCLI directly. This appointment will be billed to your medical insurance.
- 1-Week and 1-Month Post Op: Scheduled at your 1-Day Post-Op appointment. These appointments are co-managed with PCLI, we do not bill for these appointments.
- AT YOUR 1-MONTH Post-Op: Doctor will perform refraction, update your glasses prescription, and you will be able to utilize vision benefits (if you have them) at this visit. We are not in network with any Medicare or Medicare Advantage POST CATARACT glasses benefits.
Comprehensive Eye Exams
On average, we recommend scheduling an appointment once every two years to ensure your eyes are remaining healthy. If you have been diagnosed with an eye condition, however, we recommend scheduling an appointment once or twice a year depending on the severity.
During your appointment, we will review your patient history, visual acuity, perform preliminary tests, and evaluate your eyes’ overall health.

Nowadays, most people prefer to wear contacts instead of glasses. If you are interested in contact lenses, please let your eye doctor know prior to your appointment. During your exam, we will discuss the various contact lenses available and determine the best option based on your individual needs and lifestyle.

Eye dryness is an inflammatory medical condition that interrupts the ability to work and live life comfortably with clear vision. During your Initial consultation ($150):
- Must have consultation within 90 days of your routine exam.
- Please check in 30 minutes early to your appointment.
- You must be out of contacts for at least 2 weeks prior to your appointment.
- Charges for the initial consultation will be $150.
This is NOT billable to insurance.
- The doctor will check the health of your eye and confirm whether you are a “good candidate” for the surgery.
- IF NO: The doctor will inform you and we will collect only the evaluation fee of $150
- IF YES: We will collect the $150 and the doctor will send a referral out to PCLI.
- We will collect the remaining $550 at your first post op appointment.
If you are a “good candidate” The doctor will refer you to:

Myopia Control
Nearsightedness, known as myopia, makes it difficult to see objects from afar. If you are experiencing nearsightedness, corrective lenses such as glasses or contact lenses will be prescribed. After a thorough examination, we will determine the prescription that’s best for you.
