Dr. Jacob Janecek

Dr. Jacob Janecek grew up in Linton, North Dakota. He graduated with honors from University of Jamestown in Jamestown, North Dakota with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology in 1998. He attended Pacific University of Optometry in Forest Grove, Oregon and graduated with distinction earning a Doctor of Optometry degree in 2002.

Background

In the fall of 2002, Dr. Janecek and Dr. Kenny Lee established Sunset Eye Clinic in Beaverton, Oregon and later opened two locations of Sunset Vision Center in Hillsboro, Oregon. Dr. Janecek provides full-family vision care for all of his patients including: comprehensive visions exams, contact lens fittings, specialty contact lens fittings (Orthokeratology), and diagnosis/treatment of ocular diseases including glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetes, eye infections, ocular allergies and dry eyes. Away from his practices, Dr. Janecek enjoys spending time with his wife, Vivian, and their three wonderful children, Jocelyn, Jade, and Jalen. They keep busy as a family by traveling, playing sports, gardening, and staying as active as possible outdoors.
